ERDEM x H&M Brings the British Countryside To You

This year Erdem will be added to the list of H&M collaborators. In recent years, big names in the industry have also dished out their designs for the high street wear brand, and among those include Karl Lagerfield, Versace and the very successful collaboration with Balmain.

Erdem is run by Erdem Moralioglu, who was born in Canada and moved to London permanently.

His designs usually display femininity and tell romantic stories inspired by the British countryside.

This collaboration will be the first time Erdem will be branching out from womenswear into a men’s collection.

The line itself is very reminiscent of Erdem’s usual patterns and forms, but there are some twists.

Most importantly, it is more casual, as there are hoodies and t-shirts in addition to skirts and dresses.

The men’s line does not shy away from embracing the designer’s feminine touch and includes silk shirts, bomber jackets and hoodies with embroidered floral patterns.

“I love how we played with different elements, such as the flowers, to enhance the spirit of ERDEM x H&M even more,” says Erdem.

The ERDEM x H&M collection will be available in H&M Lot 10 and H&M Avenue K, as well as on hm.com, from November 2.
